Dear Sir,

In accordance with your wishes that I should send you a statement of the monies earned by my family. I herewith append the amount my two daughters each earn £44 per year from which is deducted the sum of £3.10 each for pension fund &c. the above sum together with 15/- each per week from two sons is the only means with which I have to support a family of nine including myself.

I would thank you very sincerely if you could see your way to grant the War Bonus to Patrick.
