Art and Awareness in Focus at Dundonald Library this June

Dundonald Library ExhibitionDundonald Library will shine a light on loneliness and creativity this June with a new art exhibition and launch event as part of Loneliness Awareness Week.

The exhibition, titled ‘Erica’, features work by local artist Lorraine Erica Whiteside and will be on display throughout the month during normal library opening hours. Open to all ages, the exhibition offers an opportunity to enjoy expressive, thought-provoking artwork that reflects connection, emotion and personal journey.

To mark the opening of the exhibition, the library will host a special launch event on Wednesday 11 June from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments and a live demonstration from Lorraine, offering insight into her creative process and the inspiration behind the pieces.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and booking is advised for the launch event.
