A photography exhibition

Belfast Central Library is hosting a number of cultural events this summer including the Central Photographic Association's Annual Photography Exhibition and the ongoing Classical Music Club. These events offer unique opportunities for the community to engage with local talent and enrich their cultural knowledge.

Belfast Central Library is proud to once again host the Central Photographic Association's Annual Photography Exhibition. The Central Photographic Association, one of Northern Ireland's oldest camera clubs, was founded in 1906 and is now celebrating its 118th year. This annual exhibition showcases the culmination of a year's work from the association's members, covering ten different sections that include novice, advanced, and open categories.

The exhibition will be available for viewing throughout June and July 2024 during normal opening hours.

Belfast Central Library is also pleased to invite everyone to its free Classical Music Club.

This monthly gathering offers an opportunity for classical music enthusiasts to come together to listen to and discuss various aspects of classical music. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 11:00am to 12 noon in Belfast Central Music Library, with the next session taking place on Wednesday 3 July.

Each session focuses on a specific genre or composer, providing a structured yet informal environment for participants to deepen their appreciation and knowledge of classical music.

Participation in the Classical Music Club is free, and booking is not required. Feel free to drop by and join in.
