Book Week NI Events - Meet the Author Simon Maltman in Bangor Carnegie and Banbridge Libraries
Published 15 Oct 2024
As part of Book Week NI, both Bangor Carnegie and Banbridge Libraries are thrilled to host local crime thriller author Simon Maltman for two exciting sessions. Bangor Carnegie Library will host the popular author on Monday 21 October from 6:30pm - 8:00pm with Banbridge Library taking place on Saturday 26 October from 1:30pm - 3:00pm.
Join us for either event and enjoy an interesting Q&A session where Simon will share insights into his writing process, inspirations, and the stories behind his novels.
Simon Maltman, well-known for his crime novels such as Killer Casting and Hunted, will begin each event with a talk about his journey as an author. Hunted—the first in the Walker series—was recently a finalist for the prestigious Black Spring Crime Award 2023. Whether you're a long-time fan of Simon’s work or new to his thrilling world of crime fiction, this is your chance to meet the author in person.
These events provide an excellent opportunity to hear directly from Simon about what inspires his gripping stories. Attendees will have the chance to ask him questions about his books, his writing journey, and how he develops his compelling narratives. It’s also a great occasion to connect with other crime fiction fans in your local library.
Booking is advisable for both events. To secure your place, contact Bangor Carnegie Library on 028 9127 0591 or email bangorcarnegie.library@librariesni.org.uk
