Downpatrick Library - Community Update

Libraries NI would like to thank everyone who attended the information session in Downpatrick Library on 8 July. The event was well attended, and the time taken by those who came to share their views is valued.

Libraries NI has listened carefully to feedback from individuals and groups.

Development of the proposals regarding the layout of Downpatrick Library have been paused while we reflect on the feedback received and engage further with all library customers and groups before the way forward is determined.

Libraries NI is committed to ensuring Downpatrick Library continues to meet the needs of all its users and remains a welcoming space for everyone and we look forward to working with the community in the months ahead.
