Free family fun in libraries this Easter
Published 25 Mar 2026
Libraries NI is inviting families across Northern Ireland to enjoy a range of free Easter events taking place in libraries during the school holidays.
With many families looking for ways to keep children entertained over the break, libraries are offering a welcoming and accessible place to spend time together, with activities designed to suit all ages and interests.
From creative craft workshops and hands-on planting sessions to Storytimes and interactive activities, there’s something happening in libraries right across Northern Ireland. Designed to inspire creativity, curiosity and a love of reading, these sessions also give children the chance to try something new in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Alongside the Easter events programme, families can come into their local library and enjoy everything on offer – from books and digital resources to welcoming spaces where they can sit, choose books and spend time reading together.
While some events have limited places and booking may be required, all events are free to attend, making libraries an easy and enjoyable option for families this Easter.
