Hop Into Your Local Library for Free Easter Fun!
Published 31 Mar 2025
Libraries across Northern Ireland are springing into action this Easter with a packed programme of free events and activities for children and families.
From egg hunts and craft workshops to storytelling sessions and creative challenges, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in libraries throughout the Easter break. Events will run during April and include fun sessions like pom pom chick making, flowerpot decorating and Easter-themed games—perfect for keeping young minds busy and creative during the holidays.
Libraries NI Chief Executive Dr Jim O’Hagan said:
"Libraries are great places to visit during the school holidays. Our Easter programme has something for children of all ages to enjoy, and the best part is—it's all free. We’re encouraging families to pop into their local library, take part in the fun and explore everything else their library has to offer."
With libraries right across Northern Ireland, there are dozens of events to choose from, and many do not require booking. Whether you're looking for a quick drop-in session or something more hands-on, your local library has it covered.
