Libraries NI Announces Return of Free Online Mindfulness Sessions

Online Mindfulness events from Libraries NILibraries NI is excited to announce the return of free online mindfulness sessions, offering participants the chance to slow down, refocus, and cultivate wellbeing through guided practice. Led by mindfulness practitioner Bridgeen Rea-Kaya, these sessions will take place on Tuesdays at 11:00am from April to October 2025 via Zoom.

Each session is designed to be accessible to everyone, whether you're new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice. Across 26 weekly sessions, the programme is structured into six themed series, exploring different aspects of mindfulness, including:

  • Mindful Movement (April-May) – Develop awareness through gentle movement.
  • Mindful Eating (May-June) – Learn to engage fully with food and nourish body and mind.
  • Awakening Joy (June-July) – Cultivate happiness through mindful practice.
  • Mindful Self-Compassion (July-August) – Foster kindness and care for yourself.
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (August-September) – Reduce stress and enhance resilience.
  • Mindfulness (September-October) – Deepen awareness and presence in daily life.

Participants only need to register once to gain access to the full series and can join as many sessions as they wish.
