Libraries NI Invites You to Take Part in the 2025 Macmillan Coffee Morning
Published 03 Sept 2025
Libraries NI is delighted to once again be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting coffee mornings in libraries across Northern Ireland over the coming weeks as part of the 2025 Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26 September.
Over the years, customers and staff have shown incredible generosity, raising more than £128,000 through library-hosted coffee mornings since Libraries NI first partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support 13 years ago. Every pound raised helps Macmillan continue providing vital services to people living with cancer and their families.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is about more than fundraising – it’s a chance to enjoy coffee, cake and conversation, reconnect with friends and feel part of your local community while supporting a cause that touches so many lives.
Libraries NI Chief Executive, Dr Jim O’Hagan, said:
“Libraries are proud to play their part in the world’s biggest coffee morning and to support the important work of Macmillan Cancer Support. The continued generosity of our customers and staff is truly inspiring and I would encourage everyone to call into their local library, enjoy a coffee and be part of this year’s event.”
