Libraries NI To Host Pop-Up Book Sale This June
Published 02 Jun 2025
Libraries NI is inviting readers of all ages to enjoy a special Pop-Up Book Sale on Saturday 14 June, from 9:00 am to 12 noon at the Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast.
This one-off event gives visitors the chance to purchase a tote bag and fill it with their choice of pre-loved books – just £8 for library members and £10 for non-members. With a wide range of genres available, there’s something for every reader.
The books selected for withdrawal have completed their lending life but still have plenty to offer. Rather than being recycled, these titles are being recirculated to the public in a sustainable, affordable, and engaging way. Libraries NI staff will be on hand to welcome attendees, answer questions, and sign-up new members on the day.
“We’re excited to bring the joy of reading into a new space,” said Conor McKee, Senior Services Manager with Libraries NI. “This is not just about selling books – it’s about celebrating stories, supporting sustainability, and making it easier for readers to engage with us beyond a library setting.”
Perfect for topping up your holiday reading pile – and a great excuse to bag a stack of brilliant books without breaking the bank!
