Group of people socialising and playing cards Carrickfergus Library is excited to present the Memory Lane Café! This relaxed gathering takes place every third Tuesday of the month, from 10:30am to 12 noon with the next meeting taking place on Tuesday 29 January.

The Memory Lane Café is a warm and sociable get-together specifically designed for people with dementia, their dedicated carers, and even those who have previously cared for individuals with dementia. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new people who share similar experiences and create lasting connections.

Bernadette Conway, Libraries NI District Manager said:

“During the Memory Lane Cafe, we invite you to enjoy a comforting cup of tea or coffee, accompanied by some delicious biscuits and lots of interesting chat. We believe that good company and engaging activities are essential, so we have also prepared some fun games for everyone to enjoy.

“We want to emphasise that everyone is welcome to join us at the Memory Lane Café. Whether you are a person with dementia, a caring individual, or simply someone interested in learning more about dementia, we would love to have you with us.”
