Omagh Library Creative Space
Published 28 Apr 2025
Libraries NI is offering local artists, designers, photographers etc. a unique opportunity to use a Creative Space rent free to 31 March 2026.
To support local creativity within the community, Libraries NI is providing a space of over 16 square metres in Omagh Regional Administration Centre. The space can be used for creative purposes, as a workshop or studio. As stated there will be no rent requirements and all utilities are supplied free of charge. The successful candidate will only need to supply all their own equipment and materials.
Libraries NI are keen to support the creative industry with free workshop space and support candidates trying to make a career out of their passion. Therefore, additional consideration will be given to those who can demonstrate they live in a designated area of social need such as a Neighbourhood Renewal Area.
The space can be accessed during Omagh Library Opening Hours Monday to Saturday. If you are interested, please contact the Area Manager, details below, to arrange an appointment to view. If interested, please complete the application form. If your application is successful there is an expectation that you will use the room on a full-time basis, 36 hours per week, and usage will be monitored.
The application window is open from Monday 28 April 2025 and will close at 5:00pm on Monday 12 May 2025. The space will be available to the successful candidate from 19 May 2025.
Please send completed application to Patricia Curran, Area Manager, Omagh Library, Spillars Place, Omagh, BT78 1HL or via email Patricia.Curran@librariesni.org.uk
