Ransomed

I did not fly through this book in the first half, it was a bit too full of unnecessary details and so was a bit slow in places. But eventually I got into it and was immersed. I really enjoyed it and it makes me really eager to read more in the series.

I really liked Emma Hunter, her anxiety and the way she is so super cautious in her personal life, did irritate me a bit. But in everything else she is bold and tenacious, and I really do like Jack. I hope he features heavily in the whole series.

The plot was very detailed and twisty, lots of different parts to it and unexpected surprises. It was very obvious to me though who was responsible for it all. However, I would highly recommend this book and series.
