Despite having sworn never to set foot there again, in Stiff Upper Lip Jeeves, Bertie Wooster answers the call of a friend in need (Stinker Pinker) and once again finds himself in the hell on earth that is Totleigh Towers, home of the dreaded Sir Watkyn Bassett and his drip of a daughter, Madeline. Also in the mix are other perennial Wodehouse favourites, Stiffy Bing, Gussie Fink-Nottle and fearsome Roderick Spode, Lord Sidcup, the 7th Earl of Sidcup who is the self-proclaimed protector of Madeline, and detests Bertie who to his mind is a thief and cad.
All the usual mix ups and misunderstandings ensue and as always there is only one person who can untangle the frightful mess – Jeeves!
