Ballymena Central Library
The main Cultural Heritage collection for County Antrim is located in Ballymena Central Library. As well as general resources relating to the county there are a number of special collections in both Ballymena and Ballymoney libraries. In Ballymena Central Library, these include the Langford Lodge collection of over 200 photographs which make up a visual record of the daily life of servicemen stationed at the U.S. camp at Crumlin during the period 1942-1945.
Also of particular interest to those interested in genealogy there is a collection of the Grand Jury Presentment Books for County Antrim 1711-1721 & 1811-1898. These are the most significant records of the county administration for the 19th century.
