BFI Replay is a free streaming service for public libraries with 1000s of digitised videos and television programmes from the collections of the BFI National Archive (British Film Institute) and UK regions and nations film archives, alongside contributions from other significant archives such as the BBC and ITV. Free access to BFI Replay in Northern Ireland is available through Libraries NI's network of libraries.
On BFI Replay there are clips covering 60 years of screen history, these offer a glimpse into Britain’s past, its people and places, some memorable, others rare and unseen for decades.
BFI Replay will allow you to relive or research the past with television programmes from the 1960s to the 2010s. Explore BFI Replay for fun or connect with this expansive film archive for research or nostalgia. This living digital archive will grow and evolve as newly digitised content is added.
From the British Film Institute (BFI) National Archive and partner UK Regions and Nations Film Archives, BFI Replay is only available in Northern Ireland across the public library network.

BFI Replay content features videos and programmes from the 1960s to the 2010s.
The quality of video will vary due to the limitations of technology at the time of making. Some videos may be pixelated or have incomplete or imperfect sound and these are not normally experienced with modern digital film and video.
The BFI and partners have taken steps to exclude unacceptable material and to identify and label sensitive material with content and/or trigger warnings. But due to the high number of videos involved, the BFI and partners have not been able to view everything. They cannot guarantee that all sensitive content has been identified.
Some videos may include language and attitudes which were common or widely tolerated at the time but are unacceptable today. Other videos may include content which some viewers may find upsetting or triggering.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of BFI Replay.
