Brew Monday

Brew Monday takes place on the third Monday in January (19 January 2026) and is Samaritans’ nationwide reminder of how powerful simple human connection can be. It’s about putting the kettle on, taking time for a cuppa and a catch-up, and creating space for small talk to turn into something more meaningful.

Once again, Libraries NI is proud to support Brew Monday by hosting Cuppa and chat events in libraries across Northern Ireland taking place on or around Monday 19 January 2026. Our libraries will open their doors as warm, welcoming community spaces where people can drop in for a free hot drink, enjoy a friendly conversation and find out more about the vital work of Samaritans.

At participating libraries, visitors can drop by for a free hot drink while enjoying friendly conversation and learning more about the vital work of Samaritans in our communities.
