Celebrate Book Week NI 2026

Book Week NI returns from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October 2026, with seven days celebrating books, writers, reading and the conversations they inspire.

A joint initiative between Libraries NI and BBC Northern Ireland, this year’s programme brings an exciting line-up of authors, speakers and activities for children and adults to libraries across Northern Ireland.

A highlight of the week will be Love Your Library Day on Wednesday 21 October, when all 96 libraries will celebrate the books, people, places and possibilities that make our libraries such an important part of communities.
