Make Your Green Pledge

This September, Libraries NI is inviting people across Northern Ireland to take part in Go Green with Libraries NI.

The campaign celebrates the small actions that can make a positive difference to our communities and the environment.

Libraries have always helped people share resources, learn new skills and connect with others. Go Green with Libraries NI builds on this by encouraging everyone to make one simple pledge.

Small Pledge. Positive Impact.

Today I pledge to reduce my carbon footprint by:

Borrowing more books from the library

Walking or cycling for short journeys, like to the library and leave the car at home

Turning off lights and appliances when not in use

Using a reusable water bottle and shopping bags
