📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢
All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Adult Reading Group |
Second Monday of every month from 11:00am – 12 noon. This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Chatterbooks Junior Reading Group |
To be held monthly on a Saturday 12 (specific dates, please contact the library) from 11:00am to 12 noon. Booking is essential. Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 11 years can come along to chat about their favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends. |

Tea and Newspapers |
Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Every Friday from 2:15pm - 4:30pm. |

Lego Club |
Every Monday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. For children aged 5 - 10 years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Come along to have some Lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build. Please contact the library for more information. t: 028 2076 2566 |

Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Tuesday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

Knit and Natter |
Weekly every Tuesday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

Challenge Your Mind - Puzzles and Boards Game Event |
Ballycastle Library invites you to do something fun for your mind during Mental Health Awareness Week. Come along and join our boardgames and puzzle challenge. Can you engage you mind and beat our staff in these board games?

Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival - Themed Storytime and Children's Craft |

Ballycastle Library presents Dessie Smyth 'I'll Raise Up' Book Launch |
Ballycastle Library invites you to come along and join us as we welcome local author, baker and Ballycastle Community Fridge founder Dessie Smyth into the library.
Dessie will be delighting all those in attendance as he reads from his new book "I'll Raise Up", a collection of art, poems and stories.
