Every Thursday from 10:00am - 1:00pm.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Quiet Time  

Quiet time every Thursday morning.


Lights will be dimmed and we’ll do our best to keep noise to a minimum and provide a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

 

Material to promote calm and relaxation e.g. mindful colouring will be available on request.

Rhythm and Rhyme  

Every Saturday from 10:30am - 11:00am.

Followed by toddler craft time at 11:00am - 11:30am.

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

 

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Lego Club  

Every Thursday and Saturday afternoon from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. 

Come and create something fantastic to display.

Knit and Natter  

Every Tuesday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project.

Roald Dahl Day: Magical Make and Take  

Drop in for a fun-filled Roald Dahl-themed craft session inspired by George’s Marvellous Medicine. Make your own ""magical"" potion bottle to take home!

Macmillan Coffee Morning  

Join us for a special tea party in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Enjoy homemade treats, warm drinks, and good company – all for a great cause. Booking is not required.
