| Junior Storytime |
Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
Suitable for children aged 4-8 years; children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

| Tea and Newspapers |
Every Tuesday and Saturday between 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

| Adult Reading Group |
First Tuesday of every month between 2:30pm – 3:30pm. This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Please contact the library for more information. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Thursday from 10:30am - 11:00am Booking is essential. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Big Summer Read - 'Two Way Paper Tube' Craft |
The Big Summer Read in August sees Cushendall Library invite children aged 4 - 8 years accompanied by an adult to come and take part in our 'Two Way Paper Tube' Craft. Using provided paper tubes, our friendly staff will provide you with instructions on how to turn your paper tube into a stamper first before then turning into an owl for display in our very own 'Big Summer Read' Tree. |
