Customer Notice

Cushendall Library will be closed at the earlier time of 5:30pm Tuesday 30 July. Alternative libraries include Ballycastle and Carnlough

Cushendall Library will be closed from Tuesday 27 August until Saturday 31 August inclusive. Alternative libraries include Carnlough. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Second and last Thursday of every month from 11:00am to 11:30am.

Booking is essential.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Tuesday between 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Knit and Natter  

Weekly every Thursday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Ready, Steady, Colour! Museum Services Colour the Collections Challenge  

In partnership with Causeway Museum Services, are you ready to accept the Museum Services Colouring Challenge? For children aged 3 – 11 years old, your challenge is to select at least 10 images from the ‘Colour the Collections’ series. For every image you colour, your local library or Museum will stamp your challenge card. Complete 10 images to collect 10 stamps and then bring your stamped challenge card back to your local library or Museum to win your certificate.

Adult Reading Group  

First Tuesday of every month between 2:30pm – 3:30pm.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.
