Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Every Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Knit and Natter  
Every Wednesday from 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

Phone to book.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Junior Reading Group  
Like books? Love Reading?

Join our Junior Book Club for children aged 9-11.

First Tuesday of the month from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

No need to book just come along.
Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Join us once a month to discuss your favourite crime books with fellow enthusiasts. From True Crime to Murder Mysteries we’ll look for the clues over a cup of coffee. Over 18’s’

Sensory Stay and Play Club  

Come along to our Sensory Stay and Play club which is our new Quiet Hour Storytime in Glengormley Library. Enjoy a Sensory Story with library staff and stay for a bit of play. Socialise with other parents, carers and guardians after and enjoy.

World Book Day Activity Afternoon  

Everyone is welcome to join us at Glengormley Library and celebrate World Book Day with an Activity Afternoon.  Embark on a Scavenger hunt, get creative at the craft tale or design your very own comic at the Comic Creation Station.  Booking is essential to ensure enough crafts and materials for everyone.

Join us in the library as we demo the British Film Archive Replay on all our Libraries NI computers where you can view over 60 years of available archived footage from past television.
