Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Lego Club  
Every Monday and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
 
For children aged 6-12 years; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Adult Reading Group  
Second Tuesday of the month from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Phone to register.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Storytime  
Every Wednesday from 3:15pm to 3:45pm.
 
Booking is essential.
 
Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Jigsaw Club  

Every Thursday – Spend some time relaxing and doing a beautiful jigsaw.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Saturday from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Knit and Natter  
Every Saturday from 10:30am to 12 noon.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Saturday from 10:30am to 11:00am.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Gardening Club

The Library Men of World War One  

During WW1 11 members of staff from Belfast Public Libraries enlisted in various regiments of the British Army. Over two hundred letters were exchanged between these 'library men' and the Chief Librarian between 1914 and 1919. 

 

Come along and view the exhibition.

Life is Rosie with Rosie's Trust  

Come along to the library and meet some of the team from Rosie's Trust which is an organisation that is dedicated in keeping dogs, cats and their ill owners together with practical support.  Join us and hear about the services available in Rosie's Trust to those who are living with a condition or are undergoing treatment and also about the volunteer opportunities for those who love our furry friends at this special drop in.

Connect North Drop-in Session  

Connect North can connect you to beneficial services and supports within your community to address your practical, social or emotional needs.  You must be over the age of 18 and live within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust area.  Additionally, if you could include the web link below the dates, that would be fantastic as we try to have this on all our information.

Greystone’s Storytime Saloon - Adult Storytelling Group
