Online Adult Reading Group  

Join us for our new monthly Online Reading Group from the comfort of your own home.
Like any other Reading Group a book is selected each month then participants are invited to join the meeting on Zoom for an hour each month to discuss the book.

Rhythm and Rhyme (Monday)  
Every Monday from 10:00am - 10:30am.

Booking is essential; phone from 9:00am on the Friday before event.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Storytime (Wed)  
Takes place on Wednesday each week.
First session: 2:30pm – 3:00pm
Second session: 3:30pm – 4:00pm
 
Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
 
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories; children must be accompanied by an adult.
 
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Knit and Natter (Friday)  
Takes place every Friday from 10:00am - 12 noon.

A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project.

Every Saturday from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Join us to play some music on our Piano.

All At Once - Exhibition by Lauren Martin  

Come along and enjoy Lauren Martins artwork in Lisburn Library as she uses the stories of others filled with courage, bravery and endurance to create her work.

Go On - Kubo  

Kubo: Meet Kubo the robot!  Learn the basics of coding with an interactive game that helps Kubo get to school, play football and go to the shops.  

Suitable for 4-10 year olds.

 

Sessions available from 10:00am - 11:00am, 12:00noon - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Community Connections – Tackling Textiles Talk and Visible Mending Workshop  

Learn how to do visible repairs to mend rips/tears with Sashiko, Boro and embroidery.
