Afternoon Adult Reading Group  
First Tuesday of the month from 2:30pm - 3:30pm.

Booking is essential.

Adult Reading Groups are a great opportunity for members to join in some lively literary discussions in a relaxed, friendly environment. The groups encourage people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors.

The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free.

Storytime  
Every Wednesday from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.

Booking is essential.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:00am - 10:30am. 'Term time only'
Booking is essential. Booking by phone from 9.00am on Wednesday before event.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Knit and Natter  
Every Friday from 10:00am - 12:00noon.

Booking is essential.

Knit and Natter Groups Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday from 10:00am - 11:00am.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 9 years can come along to chat about their favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends.

Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children aged 9 - 11 years old to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Teenage Reading Group  
Last Thursday of the month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

Teenage Reading Groups are a great way for young people aged 12+ to explore a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

The group meets for one hour on a regular basis between September and June.
