📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Lego Club  
First and third Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 12 noon.
 
For children age 5 years and up.  All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
 
Come along to have some Lego building fun.  Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Tea and Newspapers  
Daily from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
 
Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:00am.
 
Booking is essential as places are limited. You must ring after 4:00pm on a Tuesday to book your place.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Knit and Natter  
Every Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Mindful Colouring/Cryptic Corner  
Weekly on a Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring and puzzles. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs and solving puzzles.

The Big Family Switch Off: Brew, Browse and Bond  

It’s time to hit pause on screens and say hello to stories! Drop into our Big Family Switch Off, where you can enjoy a relaxed cuppa and a chat while choosing books for you and your little ones. 

 

Part of our friendly Brew and Browse session, this is the perfect chance to unwind, reconnect, and find your next great read—together.

Big Purple Picnic Party  

Join us for a joyful burst of colour and cuddles at our Big Purple Picnic Party! Designed for parents, carers, and little ones under 4, this fun-filled half hour is all about connection and play. 

 

Don your best purple gear (if you can!) and don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy to join the fun.
