📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Duplo play  

Come along and have fun building Duplo! Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

This fun event is for children 1-4 years and takes place on Tuesday Mornings.

Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Rhythm and Rhyme  

Every Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am to 11:20am.
During term time only.

 

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

 

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Mindful Colouring  
Every Thursday from 11:00am - 12:00noon.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Lego Club

Join us for our Chess and Draughts session for juniors and seniors every afternoon from 3:30pm - 4:30pm and all day on Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Knit and Natter  

Every Friday from 10:00am - 12:00pm

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

NSPCC 'Talk Pants' Storytime and Craft  

Join the NSPCC in Enniskillen Library as they deliver a range of fun and interactive storytelling and craft activities with an important message. Developed with children, parents, carers and teachers, 'Talk PANTS' is a programme to help young children understand that their body belongs to them, and they should tell a safe adult they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried. 

 

The event mascot, Pantosaurus will be there to greet children and parents.

The Big Family Switch Off and Purple Picnic  

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, everyone is invited to join us in Enniskillen Library for our Big Family Switch Off! Set aside those digital devices and enjoy connection with others over sweet treats and a cup of tea or coffee at our Purple Picnic, as we fundraise for Libraries NI's official charity, Action Mental Health. 

 

We will have Action Mental Health representatives in attendance to tell you all about the work that they do and we will also have a Purple Teddy Bear's Picnic with stories and rhymes for little ones at 11:00am.
