Knit and Natter  
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm; booking is not required.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Friday from 11:00am to 12 noon; booking is not required.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Lego Club (on Fridays)  
Every Friday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm; booking is not required. Ask staff for details.
 
Come along to have Lego building fun with creative ideas for things to make and build. For children aged 4+ years; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every Saturday from 10:00am to 12 noon; booking is not required.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Family Lego Club

Rhythm and Rhyme on Wednesdays  
Every Wednesday booking is not required.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Duplo Club  

Every Thursday 10.30am - 11.30am - Join us for some Duplo free play in the library. Suitable for children aged 1-4. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm - Join us for a cup of tea/coffee and relax while completing puzzles including crosswords and Sudoku.

Adult Reading Group  

Last Friday of the month from 11:00am - 12 noon - Come along to our monthly adult book group which takes place at the same time each month.

Exhibition - Somewhere Between Two Extremes  

Come and see an exhibition 'Somewhere Between Two Extremes' by local artist Senga Sharkey. The exhibition is a series of paintings inspired by photographs of her mother and grandfather Harry Maguire (who was the last blacksmith in Lisnaskea). Available to view during library opening hours. 

The artist will be doing a 'meet and greet' to speak about her work on Tuesday 17th February at 5pm.

Storytime  

A special story time session from author Kayla-Megan Burns where she will read from her book 'When I play for the county: The Fermanagh Footballer". This will take place after school on Tuesday 17 February from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.

Give It A Go - Bridge Taster Session  

Bridge Taster Session on 24 February 2026 at 2:00pm.

Come along and give it a go at the card game Bridge. The free session will be led by experienced players who wish to share their enthusiasm for the game! Learn how to play, find out more about the game and watch a game in action. Suitable for adults only.

Good Grief Club  

Join us in Lisnaskea Library for the Good Grief Club (as part of the Art of Life project) and meet with creative facilitators Briege McClean and Anthea McWilliams who will share humour, stories, jokes and some creativity whilst exploring with everyone the art of living, dying and death. This is a free two-hour workshop suitable for adults.

Comic Kids Club  

Come along to our new junior reading group for children aged 8 - 11 years who are interested in comics and graphic novels. The group will meet on the second Saturday of each month 11:00am  - 11.30am beginning on 14 March 2026. Please contact the branch to sign up and pick up the reading material for that month's group.

The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Lisnaskea Library for an additional 35 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
