All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Monday, 6 April and Easter Tuesday, 7 April 2026 and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road.

Knit and Natter  
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm; booking is not required.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Friday from 11:00am to 12 noon; booking is not required.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Lego Club (on Fridays)  
Every Friday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm; booking is not required. Ask staff for details.
 
Come along to have Lego building fun with creative ideas for things to make and build. For children aged 4+ years; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Rhythm and Rhyme on Wednesdays  
Every Wednesday booking is not required.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Every Thursday 10.30am - 11.30am - Join us for some Duplo free play in the library. Suitable for children aged 1-4.

Every Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm - Join us for a cup of tea/coffee and relax while completing puzzles including crosswords and Sudoku.

Adult Reading Group  

Last Friday of the month from 11:00am - 12 noon - Come along to our monthly adult book group which takes place at the same time each month.

Comic Kids Club  

Come along to our new junior reading group for children aged 8 - 11 years who are interested in comics and graphic novels. The group will meet on the second Saturday of each month 11:00am  - 11.30am beginning on 14 March 2026. Please contact the branch to sign up and pick up the reading material for that month's group.

Patient - Client Council drop-in clinic  

Pop into Lisnaskea Library for this free information clinic run by the Patient - Client Council. They will be in Lisnaskea Library from 1:00pm - 3:00pm to answer questions and offer advice in navigating the healthcare system.

Suitable for adults. Booking not required.

Community Advice Outreach Drop-in Clinic  

Come along to Lisnaskea Library for this free drop-in outreach clinic by Community Advice Fermanagh (formerly Citizen's Advice). They will be in the library from 2:30pm - 6:30pm to provide advice and information on benefit entitlements, debt advice, benefit appeals, housing rights, consumer issues, employment rights, cross-border queries and/or pensions.

Suitable for adults. Booking not required.

Sinead McAleavey will be in Lisnaskea Library as part of the free Adult Storyteller Series on Tuesday 31st March 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Refreshments provided. Suitable for adults only.

Peter Rabbit Easter Storytime and Scavenger Hunt  

Join us in Lisnaskea Library for a free Peter Rabbit Storytime, craft and Easter themed scavenger hunt on Friday 3rd April at 11:00am.

Suitable for children aged 4 - 8.

All children must be accompanied by an adult/carer.

The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Lisnaskea Library for an additional 35 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
