| Saturday Storytime |
Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

First Tuesday of every month. This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. | Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Big Summer Read - 'Animal Mask Mania' Craft |
Big Summer Read wraps up in Dungiven Library with our 'Animal Mask Mania' Craft, as we invite children aged 4-11 years, children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult, to come along and join this fun craft session where we'll be making animal masks. Will you be a tiger, a dog or a bird - it's your chance to go wild with your creativity! |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| Plantations in Ulster - 1600 - 1641 |
This exhibition was put together by Libraries NI and the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI). It explores the history and impact of the seventeenth century plantation which reshaped Ulster, using documents, maps and historical records. This exhibition will be on display for several weeks during September here in Dungiven library. |

| At the Crossroads - The campaign for Civil Rights in Northern Ireland. |
This exhibition charts the history of the Civil Rights Movement in Northern Ireland using materials and artefacts from the Linen Hall's Northern Ireland Political Collection. It will be on display in Dungiven Library from Monday 12 October until Friday 23 October. |

As Part of Book Week NI, Dungiven Library is delighted to welcome local author Madeline Mc Cully who will deliver an Author's Talk and Local Folklore Storytelling Performance. Madeline has written numerous books on local myths, legends, folktales and historical tales. During this event, Madeline will also talk about research involved and the difficulties around getting work published. |

| Pop-up Performance - Graveyard Grooves in Dungiven Library |
We are excited to welcome students from ‘The Little Music Studio’ to the junior section of Dungiven Library, bringing a pop-up performance with a Halloween theme which visitors of all ages are going to love! Come along and hear young talent from Dungiven and the surrounding areas perform some of your favourite spooky songs as part of a fun-filled afternoon. You can even come along dressed up in your Halloween costume and show us your dance moves… if you dare! |

Out of Hours Service
The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Dungiven Library for an additional 34 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
