📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Knit and Natter  
Every Tuesday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
 
Everyone welcome.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Lego Club  

Every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

For children aged 4 - 10 years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
Come along to have some lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Tea and Newspapers  

Every Thursday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
 

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Saturday from 10:00am to 10:30am.
 
Everyone welcome.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Garvagh Library invites you to come along to our monthly Seed Social Club to learn and share tips on seeds and gardening and to socialise with friends while enjoying a nice cuppa together.

Mental Health Awareness Week - 'Wonderful Watercolour'  

Garvagh Library invites adults for an evening of relaxing watercolour painting to unwind this Mental Health Awareness Week. Follow the example of our library staff, or simply freestyle your own creative expression. Come join us for some artistic fun.

To celebrate Mental Awareness Health Week, Garvagh Library invites you to our Community Coffee Morning. Make positive connections while gathering with people in your local community to share a cuppa and a chat.

World Bee Day – ‘Buzzy Bee Craft’  

Buzz on down to Garvagh Library this World Bee Day. We invite children aged 4-10 to join us for our Buzzy Bee Craft. Put your busy hands to use with our variety of craft resources and make your own unique bee to celebrate the day. Everyone Welcome. 4:00pm – 5:00pm.

Sherlock Holmes Day – ‘3D Model Sherlock Craft’  

The game is afoot in Garvagh Library! This Sherlock Holmes day, children aged 6-10 are invited join us to create your own mini detective with our 3D model Sherlock craft. Booking required. 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
