Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Friday from 11:00am to 11:30am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Saturday Storytime  
Weekly, every Saturday from 1:30pm to 2.00pm. Suitable for ages 4-8 years; children must be accompanied by an adult.
 
Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Come along for support and information on Department for the Economy's Career Service with weekly sessions focusing on help with a range of topics.

Knit and Natter  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 12 noon.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Adult Reading Group  

Occurs every 4 weeks on a Wednesday between 4:00pm – 5:00pm.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

The Reading Vacation - Summer Reads Book Display  

What does every summer vacation need? A good book and at Limavady Library, we invite you to come along and view our book display off selected summer reads. Browse the selection and select your desired book off choice, getting ready to take a trip of reading and enjoyment.

Rhythm and Rhyme - It's Seaside Time  

As part of our summer activities, Limavady Library invites you to join our special seaside themed Rhythm and Rhyme session, where we will be singing lots of summer rhymes and songs. Come along and join in the fun. 2:15pm - 2:45pm.

Big Summer Read Storytime and Bookmark Making Craft Session  

To celebrate Big Summer Read 2024, Limavady Library invites children aged 5 - 11 years to attend a special themed Storytime and bookmark making craft session, delivered by the Causeway Coast & Glens District Officer, as part of the Nine Book Challenge. Come along and join in the fun, while finding out more about the challenge and selecting your summer reads. 2:30pm - 3:30pm.
