Story, Tea and Chat: Shared Reading for Adults  

3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.


Come along to a relaxed shared reading session were a story or some poems will be read aloud to the group and conversation encouraged on the themes that emerge. Everyone welcome and refreshments will be provided.

Online Yoga  

Every Thursday from 11:00 am to 12 noon.

 

The online yoga classes are streamed into the Mount Stewart Suite at Fivemiletown Library. These classes are accessible practices designed to reduce stress and help you feel connected.

 

The focus of the classes will be on intentional movement, breath awareness and relaxation techniques, making it suitable for all levels with no previous experience required.

Junior Book Group  

3rd Thursday of the month from 3:45pm - 4:45pm.


We are currently taking names for our new Junior Reading Group which will take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This group would suit children aged 7 - 9 years. Please contact the branch if you are interested in signing up by calling 028 8952 1409.

Tea and Newspapers  

Tuesdays from 2:30 - 4:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am - 12 noon.


Drop in to relax and escape with a cup of tea or coffee while reading local newspapers.

Bedtime Stories  

2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm - 6:30pm. 


Bring along your little ones in their favourite pyjamas to settle down and prepare for bedtime with our cosy bedtime stories. These sessions will take place fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and is suitable for children up to 6 years old.

Knit and Natter  

Every Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

 

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Mindful Colouring

Bug Tales and Felt Fun: Special Storytime  

To celebrate Insect Week, enjoy a sensory storytime adventure featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other bug-themed books. Includes hands-on felt board fun and colouring pages.

Suitable for children of various ages; children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Craft-a-Pillar: Grow Your Own Cress-Haired Critter!  

Get crafty and create your very own caterpillar—then watch it sprout a wild head of cress hair at home! A fun mix of art and nature.
