Mindful Colouring-in can be a most beneficial exercise for children. Strathfoyle Library offer the ideal environment for children to relax, indulge in their own creativity and have their artwork showcased.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:00am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Bigger McDonald - Introduction and selection of Pictures to view Exhibition  

Available during normal opening hours; booking is not required.

Come along to Strathfoyle Library during opening hours and get a taster of the Bigger McDonald Exhibition.  The images used in this exhibition are from the significant and unique collection of photographs known as the Bigger and McDonald photograph archive. These photographs, many drawn from the Derry Standard newspaper between 1927 and 1947, provide a remarkably detailed account of life in the North West before the outbreak of the World War Two.
