Our group focuses on short stories chosen by staff and read and discussed on the day.

The reading group encourages people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors.

Drop in craft Sessions  

Drop in and make some crafts with us on the first two Saturdays of each month.

From 2:00pm - 3:00pm.


Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 10:30am - 12:00noon.
 
Lego is a play set which encourages imagination, fun and creativity. The club is suitable for all children aged 4 -11 with adult supervision.
 
No booking required.

Rhythm and Rhyme  

Every Monday and Friday 10:30am -11:30am.

 

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

 

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Gardening Club  

Relax over a cuppa and share gardening tips; swapping cuttings, seeds and produce. Everyone welcome, whether you are an expert or a complete novice we’ll be happy to see you.

Last Tuesday of each month (seasonal) booking not required.

Macmillan Coffee Morning  

Join Waterside library for a morning of tea, coffee and some sweet treats all in support of Macmillan Cancer Care. Booking is not required.
