📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Junior Reading Group  
Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday of the month from 11:30am - 12:00pm.
 
Booking essential on the morning of the session from 9:00am.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.  Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday morning from 10:00am - 12 Noon.
 
Enjoy a hot drink while perusing our selection of newspapers.  Gives adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm & Rhyme  
Every Friday 11:30am - 12:00noon. 

Book on the morning of Rhythm & Rhyme.

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Junior Lego Club every Friday for 4-11 year olds, accompanied by an adult.

Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
 
Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

You are invited to join us at Ballyhackamore library for coffee, cake and chat.  Have an email free afternoon and try some board games, minful colouring or simply relax and read.

Buzzy Bee Crafts and Trail  

Create some colourful buzzy bees at our free craft sessions. Follow the trail to find our friendly bees and get a sticker when you discover them all.
