Dear Mr Elliott,
Your letter has followed me right back home! I was ordered back to England last week in order that I might give a course of lectures to the officers in the Northern Command & I am just about to set forth on my "lecturing tour".
Now for your information these are the facts you ask for:
2.) My pay on first getting my commission was 5s 3d per day
3.) No allowances whatever are paid to any relative.
My present pay as a captain is 12s 6d per day.
I think that is all that you will require but if there is anything more please write to the above address as I do not know where I shall be during the next week or two.
Kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
T. Coulson
Capt.
