Dear Mr. G
On my way to Salonika. The heat here is terrible. I'm sorry I was unable to see you before I left Ireland I only got 48 hours' notice. I will write you when I get settled. I had a very interesting journey through France & Italy. I'm writing this from the South of Italy.
