Dear Sir,

I received your letter of March last, and was very glad to hear that you were still strong and well, and anxious to get back. I had hoped that you would have arrived here before now. However, there seems to be no definite system in the method of demobilisation. Eagleson and Roy are back more than a couple of months now, and Warren is back over a month. McCausland I expect to resume duty in a week or two. Captain Coulson has resigned, and W. Moore has been appointed in his place, but Fitzsimons and Freeland are still away as is also Captain Simpson.

I hope you will let me know when you are likely to be demobilised.

I remain,

Yours sincerely,

JBG
