Letter
18th February 1919
Mr M Warren
3rd Royal Scots
Mullingar
Dear Warren,
I received your letter this morning and sent Mr Lauder with the forms to the Officer at the Grand Central Hotel to find out where the mistake had occurred. They informed me that your name should have been registered by your Commanding Officer. Do you know if this was done? If so, I suppose I should forward them on to the address you have given me, but in case your name has not been registered, I return them to you. Of course, the suspension of demobilisation may possibly account for the confusion. If you get your name registered and return the forms to me I will forward them, but apparently there is no use in sending them on to London until I am sure your Commanding Officer has registered your name.
Yours truly,
JBG
