A telescope pointed to the sky at nightLibraries NI is inviting astronomy enthusiasts and curious minds to Belfast Central Library for a special talk by Terry Moseley from the Irish Astronomical Association as part of Irish Astronomy Week 2025.

Taking place on Wednesday 5 March from 11:30am to 12:30pm, this fascinating session will explore how our understanding of the universe has evolved over the past 400 years, since the invention of the telescope. From Galileo’s first observations to the latest discoveries in deep space, Terry Moseley will guide attendees through the groundbreaking advances that have transformed the way we see the cosmos.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to explore how our understanding of space has changed over the centuries. Terry Moseley’s knowledge and passion for astronomy will make for a truly engaging and insightful session.
