Ballycastle Library

Ballycastle Library is set to undergo refurbishment this autumn, and local residents are being invited to have their say on the plans.

A Community Feedback Session will take place in Ballycastle Library on Thursday 4 September, with members of the public welcome to drop in anytime between 1:00pm and 7:00pm.

The event will give people the opportunity to preview refurbishment plans and share what matters most to them – from preferred opening hours to the types of events and activities they would like to see in the refurbished library.

If you haven’t visited in a while, this is the perfect time to drop in and update your membership – ensuring you can continue enjoying our alternative services while the refurbishment is underway.

Bring a friend or family member who isn’t yet a member too – the team will be ready to sign them up on the day and answer any questions.

Linzie Ling, Libraries NI Area Manager said:
“Libraries are at the heart of their communities, and this refurbishment will make sure Ballycastle Library continues to be a welcoming and modern space for everyone. We want to hear from local people so that the services and activities reflect the needs of the whole community.”
