LIBRARIES NI SUMMER OPENING HOURS

Libraries NI’s Summer Opening Hours across the network of libraries will take effect from Monday 1 July until Saturday 31 August 2024. Many customers use the library differently over the summer period and therefore the opening hours have been adjusted accordingly. The main change is that late night openings beyond 6:00pm from Monday to Friday will not be available. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for details.

Ministers open new Ballymoney Library
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons and Economy Minister Conor Murphy have officially opened the newly refurbished library in Ballymoney. The library, which has been a critical service for residents in Ballymoney and the surrounding rural areas since 1970, has undergone significant investment to set a new benchmark for sustainability and energy efficiency, providing a modern, functional space for library users young and old.

Experience the I Just Called Exhibition by Colin James Woods in Belfast Libraries
Belfast Central Library is delighted to host the touring exhibition "I Just Called" by artist Colin James Woods. The exhibition will commence its journey through Belfast libraries from October 2024 to June 2025, starting with an artist event in Belfast Central Library on Thursday 3 October 2024 from 6:00pm - 7.30pm.
