Popular Holiday Spanish Classes Return to Ormeau Road Library
Published 28 Aug 2026
Back by popular demand, Libraries NI, in partnership with The Open University, is offering another opportunity to learn some holiday Spanish with a series of free beginner classes at Ormeau Road Library this September.
The classes will take place on Monday 7, 14 and 21 September from 10:30am to 12:30pm and are designed for complete beginners who would like to pick up some useful Spanish for their next trip.
Led by Ximena Arias-Manzano, Lecturer in Spanish at The Open University in Belfast, the relaxed and interactive sessions will introduce participants to practical Spanish that can be used on holiday, while also exploring Spanish food and culture.
