My Belfast – Stories in Sound
Well-known local writers Patricia Craig, Gerry Dawe and Malachi O’Doherty will be in Lisburn Road Library during February to talk about Belfast, its people, stories and changing streetscapes. This short series of talks will take place at 7:00pm on Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 February and will include childhood memories and reflections on the role of writers, musicians and the arts in shaping the city’s sense of itself.

Lisburn City Library to host Health Fair
Note: These events have already taken place. Lisburn City Library is hosting a Health Fair for adults on Friday 24 February 2023 from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Over 40 organisations from across the statutory, voluntary and charity sectors will be on hand to offer practical advice and support on a range of healthcare issues such as mental health, sensory impairment, financial support, healthy living, dementia, diabetes and heart conditions. Staff from the organisations will be on hand to answer questions and to signpost people to helpful sources of information and of course the library offers a wide selection of books covering health and wellbeing topics.
