Early Years

Local libraries are a great place for parents and carers with children aged 0 – 4 years. They provide a welcoming space where children can enjoy stories, discover new favourites and begin their reading journey.
 
There’s a wide choice of colourful picture and board books in our library book boxes. Letting children choose for themselves helps build confidence and a lifelong love of books and reading from the very start.

Libraries also offer regular events for little ones, with Rhythm and Rhyme sessions filled with songs, stories and our fun Rhyme of the Month to help support their learning.
