The Gruffalo Granny has arrived in Libraries NI
The endearing Gruffalo series created by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler has captivated many generations of children and this latest addition will certainly not disappoint.
In preparation for a visit from Gruffalo Granny, the Gruffalo and child search the forest for tasty things to add to their stew. Told in the rhyming style that is so popular with young children the story revisits some of the author’s favourite other characters - the snail and the whale, the witch who fell into a ditch and monkey who searches for his mother.
The illustrations are, as ever perfectly executed, with details that will enthrall any child – and possibly their parents as well!
