Tea and Newspapers |
Every Friday from 10:30am to 12 noon. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

Empathy Festival - 'Travelling Trees' Garvagh Forest Photographic Exhibition |
To celebrate Empathy Festival 2025, Dungiven Library is delighted to host the 'Travelling Trees' Garvagh Forest Photographic Exhibition, kindly provided by the Garvagh and District Development Association.
Consisting of a range of stunning wooden tree displays containing images showcasing the plant, bird and wildlife of the forest, we invite you to come along and view this exhibit, giving people the chance to see the variety, intricacy and beauty of the natural world while capturing the Heritage moments of time from those who have enjoyed the forest.

Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

Adult Reading Group |
First Tuesday of every month. This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Lego Club |
Every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Suitable for age 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Come along to have some Lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build. |

Book Launch "The Yankee at Benbradagh" |
Join us in Dungiven library to launch the book "The Yankee at Benbradagh" by Lorna Jennings. The book has a local connection being set just outside Dungiven in the 1970s. Refreshments served.

The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Dungiven Library for an additional 34 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
