CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holiday Closures

All Libraries NI’s public and mobile libraries will be closed on Saturday 12, Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 July. Libraries will reopen on Wednesday 16 July. 

The Out of Hours service will be closed from Friday 11 July until Tuesday 15 July inclusive reopening on Wednesday 16 July in Out of Hours libraries.

Please remember that eServices (eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers) are available during this period, and joining online is free.

Dungiven Library Out of Hours Service will resume on Thursday 17 July at 10:00am after the Bank Holiday on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 July.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday from 10:30am to 12 noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:00am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Adult Reading Group  
First Tuesday of every month.
 
This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Lego Club  
Every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

Suitable for age 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Come along to have some Lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Holiday Reads Community Book Swap  

Dungiven Library invites adults to join in all the fun and bring along your favourite holiday reads for other library users to take home, and choose one for yourself. If there's nothing you fancy, you can always borrow one of ours! Everyone Welcome.

Paper Aeroplane Competition  

It's the Industrial Age this week in the Big Summer Read - try your hand at building a paper aeroplane and see how far it can fly!

The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Dungiven Library for an additional 34 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
