Celebrate Killyleagh Library’s Reopening and 50th Anniversary with Festive Fun on Friday 6 December 2024

To celebrate the reopening and 50th Birthday of Killyleagh Library, everyone is invited to join us on Friday 6 December for a day of festivities and the chance to explore the library’s newly refurbished space.
Enjoy a Christmas Coffee Morning from 11:30am to 2:00pm, with tea, coffee and festive treats. At 1:00pm, relax to the beautiful sounds of harp music performed by Sharon Carroll, followed by a fascinating talk on the Scotch-Irish in America by Dayna Jost from the Ulster-Scots Community Network at 2:00pm.
There will also be a photographic exhibition on display showcasing Killyleagh Library’s events, activities and staff over the past 50 years.

Sip, Reflect and Connect at Brew Monday Events
This January, Samaritans in Northern Ireland are inviting the public to take part in Brew Monday, a nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging conversations and promoting mental well-being. Brew Monday, traditionally held on what’s typically known as Blue Monday (January 20), is all about coming together over a cup of tea or coffee to connect and support one another.
