Dungannon Library Preparing to Welcome the Community Back
Published 16 Jun 2026

Dungannon Library reopeningWe are delighted to announce that Dungannon Library is reopening to the public tomorrow, Wednesday 17 June at 9:30am. The team in Dungannon Library is looking forward to welcoming customers back and we would like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding and support during what has been a challenging time for all involved.

Our particular thanks go to the fantastic staff and friends in Mid Ulster District Council and Ranfurly House, who worked with us to provide a temporary space for local people while the library was unavailable. Their support and partnership were greatly appreciated and helped ensure the community continued to have access to library services during this time.

Paul McKearney, Branch Library Manager at Dungannon Library, said: “We are excited to be reopening our doors and welcoming customers back to Dungannon Library. We know how important the library is to many people in the local community and we are grateful for the kindness, patience and encouragement shown to the team over recent weeks.

“We look forward to seeing familiar faces again and helping people reconnect with all the services, activities and opportunities the library has to offer.”
