Libraries NI invites facilitators and practitioners to register for future opportunities

Libraries NI is inviting experienced facilitators, creative practitioners and subject specialists from across Northern Ireland to register their interest in delivering future events and activities in public libraries.

With a wide-ranging programme of events taking place throughout its library network, Libraries NI is looking to expand its pool of experienced individuals who can bring their knowledge, creativity and skills to library audiences.

The invitation is open to people from a broad range of professional and creative backgrounds, including authors, illustrators, storytellers, artists, musicians, performers, speakers, lecturers, academics and health and wellbeing practitioners.

Libraries NI is also keen to hear from individuals with expertise in areas such as heritage and culture, arts and creativity, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), digital skills, sustainability and community learning.

Events and activities in libraries cater for a diverse range of audiences, including children and young people, adults, older people and families. Facilitators can indicate the types of activities they offer, the audiences they have experience working with and the areas of Northern Ireland in which they are available to deliver sessions.

By registering their details, individuals can be considered for future paid opportunities that match their skills, experience and areas of expertise.

Libraries NI welcomes applications from experienced practitioners working locally or across Northern Ireland, including those who may not previously have considered delivering an event or activity in a public library.

How to register

Anyone interested in being considered for future opportunities is encouraged to complete the Libraries NI Facilitator Application Form, providing details of their experience, specialist knowledge and the activities they can offer.
